Volume 1
Summary Volume 1 presents the performance characteristics of 34 airfoils (36 wind tunnel models), most of which are intended primarily for model aircraft, although the airfoils and data are expected to have wider application. The illustration below shows by category the collection of airfoils that were tested. The myriad of airfoils depicted reflects the variety of airfoil design requirements that differ widely from one application to the next. These differences are highlighted in the text of the book.
